Services

  • First aid at events - they provide ambulance, first aid and medical services, tailored to the requirements of each individual event. They can provide a whole range of resources including:
    • Qualified first aiders
    • Emergency ambulances and crew
    • Emergency vehicles
    • Registered nurses, paramedics and doctors
    • Mobile command and control facilitie
    • Mobile treatment centres/field hospitals
    • Cycle response teams
  • Emergency response
  • Training courses
  • Neighbourhood first responder - attend emergency calls received by the ambulance service and provide care until the ambulance arrives. Volunteers can arrive at an emergency scene in a matter of minutes, as they are sent to calls in their local area.
  • Transport services - They have contracts with many NHS trusts across the UK and also with a number of private sector institutions. Transferring patients to a wide range of non-emergency medical appointments such as:
    • admissions to and discharge from hospitals
    • clinics
    • nursing homes
    • other medical facilities.
