Royal Air Force
From SR
Role
The Royal Air Force (RAF) is one of the three Armed Forces. The Royal Air Force's role, in conjunction with the Defence organisations, is to deliver the UK Defence Vision:
- Defend the UK and its interests.
- Strengthen international peace and stability.
- Be a force for good in the world.
Future
This is achieved by working together on the core task to produce battle-winning people and equipment. The Royal Air Force will build upon the successes of the past and on the characteristics that make air power essential across the full spectrum of operations in order to contribute to the Defence Vision.
