Purpose
The Department for Work and Pensions has implemented an integrated finance, procurement, human resources and payroll system based on Oracle e-business software. The introduction of this ‘Resource Management’ system was a major undertaking and reflects the significant investment being made to improve operational efficiency, control and level of decision making, both individual and corporate.
Partnerships
Fujitsu provides the RM hosted managed service and worked collaboratively with the Department and its other suppliers in implementing and rolling out the system to the DWP users.
Oracle Corporation UK Ltd provides the application software and Oracle Consulting was the DWP Solution Provider in designing and developing the application to meet the DWP business requirements.
In addition, IBM provided consultants to support the DWP project team.
