Ian Kearns

Ian is the Deputy Chair of the independent Commission on National Security in the 21st Century. He has over 20 years of experience working on foreign and security policy and has been published on a wide range of issues including Britain's 'special relationship with the US', nuclear non-proliferation, the enlargement of the European Union, conflict in former Yugoslavia, and the security situation in Northern Ireland. He is former Director of the Graduate Programme in International Studies at the University of Sheffield and is a regular media commentator.
