Reporting Hierarchy
HM Inspectorate of Constabulary for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (HMIC) report to Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Constabulary (HMCIC)
Sir Ronnie Flanagan has been HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary since 1 February 2005. His one year extension means that he will remain in post until 31 January 2009.
Documents
It has been the custom of Her Majesty’s Chief Inspectors of Constabulary to produce a report for each financial year. However, events affecting the Police Service and HMIC have been such over the past 24 months that the Constabulary decided to reflect these changes in a report which took a broader ‘sweep’. Hence, the latest report covers a longer period than in the past: 1 April 2005 until 31 March 2007.
