Purpose
The UK Ambulance Service is an Emergency Service managed within individual NHS Trusts. They provide two main services:
- Acident & Emergency - Responding to 999 calls
- Non-Ememrgency - Patient Transport Service (Ambulance services may also provide out of hours medical care)
